I am not a full time collector travelling to shows, but I do understand that card backs are important. I have several figures still in the original container The backing to the clear plastic is known as the “card back”. Card backs for the vintage Star Wars figures changed with every movie released. However, there were some that also had mistakes or limited editions. To learn more about these card backs, check the pricing guide we have here on the website.

Having built numerous lego kits with my son, I am glad to say Star Wars is alive and well here! These kits are definately fun and challenging to build. But I guess, once you build them, you have no choice to either break them back up or modify them. That is where my son has done quite well.

I looked around the Garwood Star Wars Amazon Store and uploaded a number of hard to find Star Wars Lego kits. Take a look in our catalog.

It’s 2010 and I think often of the summer of 1977. Where has the time gone? But more importantly, where are the cool vintage Star Wars items?? So many of items from action figures to crazy tv shows. I look from time to time for the lost holiday special to various signed posters. But I am always amazed at how much it costs. Well, if you have a price guide, that is a good thing. There are so many ways to get ripped off but if you know what you have or what you are looking for, plus have a price guide, you can stand on level ground. Take a look at the pricing guides I picked out, they might help.
