Star Wars A New HopeStar Wars The Empire Strikes BackStar Wars Return of the JediIn 1977 a movie was released that changed a 9 year old boys life forever. For the next 7 years he lived and breathed Star Wars. Action figures, accessories, soundtracks, comics, books, posters, and stickers were the one thing that always interested him.

Many months and summers went by where he and his friends created adventures in the basements, yards, and woods of their Northeastern Pennsylvania homes. Collections grew but new ideas never stopped.

When Return of the Jedi was released it seemed that an end had been reached. And so with it the collecting. He grew older and the items were put away until this past summer. The collecting nor the interest really never stopped but it got refined.

The purpose of this website is to help anyone who has an interest in Vintage Star Wars to find a unique book or hard to find toy. We have hand selected Vintage Star Wars items that are available on Amazon.com and created a place where you can find reliable pricing guides, rare DVD’s, Vintage Star Wars t-shirts and other vintage accessories.

Collectors Tips:

  • If you have figures are you are trying to determine what they are worth, here are some guidelines. I don’t have specific figures but may be able to help you look up some prices if you contact me.
  • Also see the books on our Collectors Page for pricing guides. They are a great resource for determining the value of what you may have in your possession.
  • Carded Figures – These are figures still in their boxes. Vintage figures in unopened and undamaged containers are typically worth more that those that are “loose”. Of the Carded Figures, if your card says “REVENGE OF THE JEDI”….it is a special one.
  • Unique Figures – If your figure is loose but is one of the ones listed below it is a valuable piece to a collector/fan. There are others but this is a start:
    • Boba Fett – with firing missile on his back (missile actaully shoots)
    • Boba Fett – white/grey in color used in making model for other Fett figures
    • Luke Skywalker – telesoping light sabre (this is a rare one) and was one of the original four created for the 1977 release of Star Wars.
    • Jawas – cloth cloak
  • Accessories – Weapons should accompany the figure, especially if it is a unique weapon versus a weapon that may be used my multiple figures (eg. the Stormtrooper blaster is the same one that Boba Fett has).
  • Additional Items – There are quite a few unique items out there that are of value to a collector/fan. Anything in good-excellent condition and was a unique one time offering is often a good collectors item.
  • Star Wars toy displays – these are the cardboard “standees” you would see in KMart or other stores that carried Star Wars action figures. They also appeared in movie theatre lobbies.
  • Star Wars drinking glasses from Burger King
  • Star Wars posters from Burger King

Over time we plan to grow this site into a Vintage Star Wars community website. If you have any suggestions please contact us.
